For Nova KitchenFilm 01 of 03
Nova Kitchen doesn't sell cabinetry. It builds the room where everything else takes place.
Six frames · One day · 23 seconds
The idea
This film doesn't show a kitchen. It shows the life lived inside one.
Point a camera at furniture and you get a catalogue. Point it at a morning, a spilled crayon, a bottle opening at sunset, and the room sells itself. The cabinetry is in every single frame and announced in none of them.
The viewer doesn't watch a product. They watch a life they recognise, in a room they suddenly want. That's a much harder thing for anyone else to copy.
The series
Each one takes a different angle on the same truth. This presentation covers the first.
A single day, from first light to the last lamp in the house.
One unbroken shot carries a family through twenty-five years.
Craft, material and light. Almost no words at all.
The board
Each frame holds for exactly as long as it will on screen. The room darkens as the film runs.

quiet. hold, then outThe frame goes black, the Nova Kitchen mark resolves, and the line lands: crafted around life.
The light
Nothing else lights this film. The day moves, the room changes temperature, and six separate frames still read as one continuous afternoon in one continuous home.
The window does everything. The room wakes up cool and slow.
The sun drops below the frame and lays gold across the counter.
Two pendants left burning over an island nobody wants to leave.
The room
We build the film in McDurmon, White and Olive. The white uppers hand the morning light back to the room. The olive keeps its colour when the sun drops, instead of going grey like everything else does at that hour. And the brass is the only metal in the range that genuinely catches fire once the lamps come on. It is a room that photographs beautifully three times a day.
Voice over
Great kitchens are never just about cabinets.
They're where mornings begin,
where stories are shared,
where families grow.
Nova Kitchen. Crafted around life.
Why it works
Life.
The kitchen stops being a product and becomes a place the viewer wants to be standing in. Nobody remembers a door. They remember a morning.
